Rocking the weekends in NEOhio

Just imagine it: gourmet pizza on the table, craft beer in your hand and great live music in the air. Do they make a better way to enjoy a Saturday night in November?

We think not.

Beach Club Bistro serves up live music and terrific culinary experiences with our Saturday Night Shows each week from 8-11 p.m. This month's line-up features:
Nov. 6: Carlos Alberto Calabrese
Nov. 13: Tom Todd
Nov. 20: Carlos Alberto Calabrese
Nov. 27: Jeff Soukup
Buenos Aires-born guitarist Carlos Alberto Calabrese is a staple of the Beach Club Bistro's Saturday Night Shows. He's a master of all musical styles, but celebrates his Argentine heritage with beautiful Spanish guitar performances. He's toured extensively around the country and puts his special flavor on a range of tunes from cultural classics to rock classics. Listen to some of his music.

Tom Todd is the amazing one-man band. His playlists run the gamut — from Jethro Tull to Frank Sinatra, Jimmy Buffett to the Beatles — amidst an entertaining, inspiring show that often involves up to nine different music instruments. Get more info on Tom Todd.

The Jeff Soukup Band plays the Grill Nov. 20.
Soukup plays solo at the Bistro Nov. 27.
Cleveland musician Jeff Soukup is a veteran of the local music scene, playing shows with 1970s rock bands Sweet Evil and Foul Play, as well as folk act Bait and Switch in the 1980s and East Side Rockers in the 1990s. He's also co-written songs for Anne Cochran's debut album. Soukup loves rocking the Bistro (and the Grill) for Saturday Night Shows. Check him out on Reverbnation.

Thank you for being a fan.

Beach Club Bistro and Beach Club Grill announced this week fan-appreciation deals for the first week of November.

It's a healthy nod of pizza pies for patrons in the social sphere.

On Tuesday, Nov. 2, both the bistro and the grill celebrate Facebook fans with Free Pizza Tuesday. The first 50 fans who RSVP'd to the events on Facebook receive free pizza (with beverage purchase). Guests will be given vouchers to print out and bring to the restaurants.

Not yet a Facebook fan? Join us on the Beach Club Bistro and the Beach Club Grill pages.

It's not just about free pizza days on Facebook: fans can keep up with the restaurants' latest news, learn about new menu items and deals, see the weekend specials and share their feedback and favorites from their restaurant experiences.

We like having an open conversation with our patrons. So, pleas fan our page and let us know what you think. About everything!

Twitter fans get a special day too: on Wednesday, Nov. 3, we're celebrating our followers on Twitter. To "RSVP" to this event, we're asking followers to tag Beach Club Bistro in their Twitter status with their favorite pizza name.

For instance, you might write:
My favorite @BeachClubBistro pizza is the Coronado pizza.
To tag BCB: Use the @ symbol with our Twitter name, BeachClubBistro (no spaces), as shown above. Need to decide your favorite pizza? Check out our menus.

While it's obviously a great way to share with your friends your love of Beach Club pizza, the tagging mechanism also enables us to keep track of who has tweeted and be able to get them vouchers for the event.

Join us: follow us on Twitter and name your favorite pizza.

Warm up your weekend with cozy specials

Dick Goddard calls for yet another pleasant and mild weekend in Cleveland. We're getting warm breezes off the lake in Euclid at the bistro, and sunny skies lay ahead for the grill in Concord.

chili
It's the second to last weekend to enjoy outdoor dining on the Beach Club Bistro patio (seriously: we're still loving it outside in late October!). We're open for lunch—and football— on Saturday and Sunday, as well as our typical dinner times.

So, stop by and have a pizza, a craft beer or one of these weekend specials on the bistro patio:
House-made chili
Sauteed shrimp in lobster cream over pappardelle
Homemade pot roast dinner
Also this weekend: we welcome Carlos Alberto Calabrese for the Oct. 23 Saturday Night show at the bistro.

See a clip of Carlos below and catch him live on Saturday at 8 p.m.

Al fresco isn't just for summer

Fall officially fell a few weeks ago in Northeast Ohio. Lucky for us, autumn is one of the best times of the year. Particularly for the Cleveland's east shore.

A block from the coast of Lake Erie, the Beach Club Bistro makes for a perfect spot to enjoy warm breezes off the lake, sunset skies and our region's beautiful fall season. In fact, the patio at the bistro is open until Nov. 1.

Two patrons enjoy a sunny October lunch next to the tranquil patio greenery and fountain.

Imagine that: al fresco dining less than a month out from Thanksgiving. In Cleveland!

Our secluded and landscaped patio extends off the back of the restaurant. It's open air, but covered all year round. So, you can enjoy your meal (or late-night drinks) rain or shine.

And as the temps drop below sweater weather, you won't need mittens to go al fresco.

The patio is warmed by heaters that will make this outdoor dining experience like a night in San Francisco. (Except you can't find pizza like this anywhere near the Golden Gate Bridge.)

Now, which pizza goes best with a pleasant evening on the patio?

Clambake at the Grill Oct. 17

The first annual clambake at the Beach Club Bistro was Oct. 3 was a hit!

In fact, our tasty reputation preceded us: the event was a featured clambake on Unmiserable Cleveland.

But you haven't missed your shot at one of Northeast Ohio's best clambakes yet. We're taking the bake to Concord on Oct. 17.

Get one dozen clams, half a roasted chicken, homemade chowder, corn and roasted potatoes for $19.95. Want more clams? It's $9 per dozen.

Call the Beach Club Grill at 440-350-0088 to save your bake. They're going fast!
